Services Provided Before your Due Date

My services begin after my interview and hiring.  I will do the following*:

• Visit with you 2-3 times before your baby comes to discuss:
• Relaxation/ Visualization techniques
• Labor positions
• Breathing techniques
• Discuss detailed information about what to expect at your birth
• Standard procedures and possible interventions
• Writing of your Birth Plan
• Stages of labor and when to call me
• Perineal massage techniques
• Nutrition and herbal remedies
• Discuss any questions or concerns you may have
• Watch a birth and lactation video

Services provided during and after your birth

During your labor and delivery, I will be with you.  I will also stay after your birth to assist with your initial breastfeeding.

I will visit with you once postpartum to make sure everyone is doing well.  It is during this visit that I will cater a dessert chosen by you from my special menu. This is included in my fee.

I will take photos of your birth and put them on a disk for you.

I will write your birth story.

Additional meals and/or desserts may be purchased separately. Menu subject to change.
